I seldom pay attention to CNBC. I'm currently reading Shiller's "Irrational Exuberance". I can see in the interview what Shiller means : the short-term-focus mindset proliferated by the media.
Yep, I try my best to turn the questions into something useful but there's no escaping the fact that all they want to know is what's going to happen today. CNBC keep getting me back, though, so I can only assume they don't mind me not directly answering the questions!
You'd give any of the so-called TV finance experts a run for their money, mate. Just don't go and become a mesia star - we need you right here at The Intelligent Investor !!
