The Two Year Milestone (video)

The Two Year Milestone (video)

The Value Fund turned two at the end of October—a milestone for our small funds management team.  After a busy November, I finally got the chance to sit down with Kate and answer some questions about the Value Fund. It's all in the video below.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them as a comment and if we get a sufficient number we might even put together another recorded interview.

Thanks for your transparency and honesty which is refreshing compared to others in the fund management industry. Only one question I have which is not about the fund itself but are there still plans to release an investor login function to the site?

Had a good chuckle when you mentioned that brokers only come to you to offer essentially their crap, when you’re celebrating your next birthday I’m sure the tables will be turned and they’ll be offering you the good stuff once they realise you deserve to be in the big leagues.

Thanks Joseph. I should let Kate answer the website login question but I think we are very close. In IT terms, that means somewhere between a couple of weeks and a couple of years (in all seriousness, we'll be very disappointed if it's not up and running by Christmas).

Hi Steve,

The thing that strikes me most about this update, is that in an environment where trust is sadly lacking in anyone involved in managing our money, from bankers to superfund managers, there seems to be some transparancy and communication.
Keep up the good work.

Nice interview, honest and humble... the collar is looking very
aerodynamic?
