Value Fund Unit Price $0.9931
Value Fund Unit Price $0.9931
I won't do this every month but we've had a few enquiries about the Value Fund unit pricing for November. The net asset value was $0.9931 and the buy and sell prices are 0.4% either side of that.
As expected, nothing too exciting in the first month. We're down on the original BEPPA purchases and slightly up on the other infrastructure stocks I've bought but the performance so far is irrelevant.
You will be able to view the unit prices every month in the unit prices section of the Intelligent investor Funds site.

Doh!!!!
just joking :-)
thanks steve,
I am wondering where we will be able to veiw the stocks held in the fund?
thanks steve can you also tell us how or when we will be able to veiw what the fund has invested in?
Hi Mark,
We'll write a quarterly report (the first of which will be out early January) and we plan on disclosing at least some of the stocks we own.
I won't disclose anything that I think will be detrimental to the fund's performance though. Generally, that means not mentioning a stock until we've bought as much of it as we would like. In the early days especially, that will mean less disclosure than you would probably like.
Hi Steve,
Forgive my ignorance around managed fund unit pricing, but if the buy price is $0.9971 and the sell price is $0.9831 (according to the iifunds.com.au website) then shouldn't the median price be $0.9901?
I'm guessing that some kind of redemption fee of 60bps is deducted from the sell price but I'm interested how you arrived there.
Cheers,
David
Will we be able to see the unit prices at least monthly. The % performance figures are available but it would be easier to put a value on my investment using a unit price.
Hi Colin,
You can view the unit prices within a few days of month-end by following this link:
